Bailey Charter Elementary School follows the Washoe County School District when determining a delayed start, snow day, or other school cancellations. If the District has announced a delay or closure, this will apply to our school as well. We will send a phone calls and electronic message to families with notification of a delay or school cancellation. Notifications will also be posted on our website and Facebook page.

For a 2-hour delayed start, the office will open at 10:30 am, and the school day will begin at 11:00 am. Breakfast will not be served, and lunch will be on a delayed schedule, with dismissal at 3:00 p.m. If it is an early release day, the early release will be cancelled, and school will dismiss at 3:00 pm. Students are not to arrive to campus before 10:45 am.

For a snow day or other school cancellation, school is cancelled for the day and the building will be closed. These days will be made up by adding additional school days at the end of the school year.
